I just started leveling a druid because I loved the model and the fact that they were such an iconic looking class. While I agree with everything said here and with the developers making these changes... It'd be sad to see the perma-tree gone for good.
At the end of the dev chat they said something about a minor glyph making us stay in tree form despite not getting the benefit. I think that'd be amazing and I really hope they implement it.
