I don't know if I'm in the minority here, but I do NOT want to see HfB get thrown to the side and replaced with a shiny new talent. One of the things I really love about the Assassination tree is how, during the middle of a fight, we have to juggle the vast number of self-buffs, combo points, and proc-related rotation changes. It's like juggling... with daggers. I find the whole system really beautiful. And while I would not object to not being forced to glyph HfB to make it what it should be, I definitely hope it will still be there when the whole of Azeroth is torn assunder.

I agree. I love that I actually have something to do in a fight other than spam SS. It's not all JFM like a feral druid, but it's busy enough that I'm not bored. Taking HfB out would.... lessen the experience. Make me work for my top slot on the DPS meters.

I too love my mut rotation. It flows really well. That being said I have to agree with Chase that HfB is boring as all get out. Maybe not toss it out but rework it. Let it do something other than 8% more damage(glyphed) and a swirly ball in my chest.

Sorry guys, but there is very little about mutilate that's any more complex or challenging about playing mutilate than combat, and refreshing an ability once every minute is tedious, not exciting. The challenges come from everything that you have to deal with *outside* of the combo point-finisher rotation. The "spam SS" meme is tired and outdated, especially when mutilate only uses one finisher.

i'm kind of in the anti-H4B category, and i find Assassination's rotation kinda boring. Slice and Dice is basically automatic, and in just about any raid enviroment, you won't really have trouble keeping H4B up, since there will usually be some bleed or another on the target. i guess if you're really getting into maximizing Envenom buff uptime, there is some complexity there, but basically it's hit mutilate if you have 3 or fewer CP, hit envenom if you have 4 or more, that's just 2 buttons. hit H4B once every 50-59 seconds.the only place when things get kinda choppy for mutilate is in heroics, where you have a much harder time counting on bleeds and even keeping SnD up, in which case, H4B as an essential-but-boring part of your dps gets incredibly annoying. Hunger for Blood is, in my mind, the worst kind of ability, essentially a passive ability, but with the added hassle of having to activate it. compare to the other rogue 51 pointers, which are fully active abilities, or even to Titan's grip, which is purely passive.i'm not quite sure what i'd do with H4B to improve it. i'd love to see rogues, or at least one spec of rogues, get more of a direct, personal gain from using Expose Armor, and there might be some way to work that in.
