I'm not a Holy Paladin, so I am actually asking how that would affect gearing/playstyle as opposed to posing a rhetorical question, but it seems to me that Blizzard came right out and said that Holy Paladins aren't going to be seen as niche tank healers anymore and then also inched them closer to the other healers with the aoe heal and some other things mentioned in the preview.

But in addition to that, it seems like gear choices in general will also be parallel considering how they've described changes to stats in Cata, e.g. getting rid of MP5/spellpower and having everyone use spirit and intellect.
