Ok, this comment is coming from a resto druid (and prot pally), but I think it's odd that the heal will come from the pally and have a short range. I pug heal alot, and I've learned (this is obvious I know) that my group heal is generally better used on the melee group- except for a few specific encounters I've dealt with, you can't bet that if you hit a caster/range with it that it will hit anyone else at all, so I minimize my group heal on casters unless I *know* there are some grouped. Many fights make you spread out, pugs are notorious for lack of coordination, etc.If your AoE heal has such a short range, what are the odds you're even going to affect anyone else in the normal course of events? Will holy pallies start sitting in the melee group in order to use this? Will they start badgering people to sit next to them (like some Resto Shammies I know) despite how often the mechanics make that not such a hot idea?
