Celestial Steed mount and Lil' XT pet to be sold on the Blizzard store

We don't know any details. That's all there is to say on that. So any speculation about price, functionality, etc... it's all just that. Speculation.
We do know, however, that this is the first mount being sold at the store; and the first useful in-game item you can directly buy with real world money (if you don't count the mounts from the WoW TCG game).

That Celestial Steed is AWESOME...I think I'd pay max of $25 for it. That thing is really cool looking, especially with a decent graphics card.

"the first useful in-game item you can directly buy with real world money"
I don't know if I'd say it's useful - it would be a little more useful if you could buy the riding skill, the mount cost is usually somewhat negligible compared to the training cost. I mean it's useful because you "use" it, but buying the mount itself isn't exactly expensive.

I'd pay up to $35ish, depending on how it looks in Shadowform.

If its boa I might splurge on this. The pet seems super annoying though I learned my lesson with the panda and all its horrible noises.

Just been added to the EU shop as buyable, for £17 for the mount and £9 for the little XT. The mount applies to all your characters and future characters on your account.

I didn't mind the pets being sold, the mount bugs me.

It is useful, it gives all your toons a free riding and flying mount. Idk bout you but (somewhat)free mounts are always welcome in my stable.

Whats the deal with this XYZ-thing?
/Noob in need of illumination.
Aaron Apr 15th 2010 11:04AM
@Kyrro it's just another lame interwebs meme. For example someone would say "X sounds awesome, Y sounds terrible and I'm not sure about Z". It's trying to find humor in being very broad/general/generic etc. People are using it now in place of claiming "FIRST!" for a first post on a blog comment section.
Back on topic: THAT MOUNT WILL ME MINE MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA

A lot of the time when wow.com posts are going up as their being edited, they have a placeholder that basically has a generic X goes here, Y goes here, Z goes here format. This has been happening a lot recently with the new class previews.
Commentors saying things like, "I like X, but I'm not so sure about Y and Z," was kind of funny the first time, but as it gets repeated and overused, it's become rather stale, and has even started to become a new replacement for "FIRST!"
