I'm still convinced this was more Activision's call than Blizzard's. I could be wrong, but I don't think they had any microtransaction services (except server/name change) until after the merger. That said, I have no real issue with it, but it's something worth noticing.

While I do agree with you that this new transaction business, though for reasons based on absolutely nothing but a feeling, I cant help but feeling angst.
First, that "Soul ja boy" squirted a water gun and sung a tune on myspace. He's now rich.
Now some designer throws together a crudely crafted horsemade of stars and transparent layers....
...and im getting none of that. lol

Its a great business idea, and I am fine with the fact that they are selling mounts and pets... but to make such an AWESOME looking mount into something SO common, is a bit of a shame.
