my only complaints are: $25 usd is a bit much for a mount and i think that if the trend continues and blizzard keeps putting up more and more items for sale it's going to end up cheapening the mount/pet achieves that lot of ppl work hard for. "oh? those last 10 pets i needed for 75? i just spent $10 on each pet because i can." that's going to rub a lot of people the wrong way, including both younger players who don't necessarily have access to their own cash and players who have actual bills to pay over buying the damn pony and pets. and i'm sure that someone will make snide comments about people that don't feel comfortable just forking over $25 for something. but not everyone is in the best financial position and much of the world is in a recession right now. maybe paying for certain vanity items isn't such a bad idea, but i'll pass for now thanks.

As long as you can only acquire something through money or the game, it doesn't cheapen it. People are going to talk shit to you for spending real money on something ingame anyway. Look how many people are doing it now over this horse? For example, as long as they don't start selling things that drop off a boss as well, everything is okay.

Just so I follow- younger players don't have their own money and older players have bills. What mystical group of people are you imagining that don't have either bills or someone providing for them? I suppose there are maybe 5% of people who have trust funds?
