Reminder: Travels Through Azeroth art contest continues

Because of all the cataclysmic, celestial madness around these parts lately, we've decided to tack on another two weeks to our art contest for Destron's amazing fan-fic serial, Travels Through Azeroth and Outland. Send us your original illustration of Destron, the protagonist of Travels Through Azeroth, for a chance to be featured here on WoW.com and on the About page of Travels Through Azeroth. (Read more about Destron and his travels in our World of WarCrafts feature.)
Travels Through Azeroth transports readers to Azeroth and Outland as seen through the eyes of itinerant traveller Destron the mage. This ongoing, lore-based tale is deep -- deep enough in quantity to have accumulated years' worth of entries, and deep enough in content to be recommended by TVTropes.com.
Find out more about Destron by reading about him on Travels; your illustration should show Destron, the narrator. You may use any art medium you like. Send your entries (.jpg format, please) to lisa at wow dot com, with the subject line TRAVELS THROUGH AZEROTH ART. We'll accept entries through midnight EST Sunday, May 2.

Ahaha, I have no art skill but I've read the series and it is very delicious. Hope it gets some good submissions.

Oh god, PLEASE no TVTropes! Rick Rolling is better than that! At least you aren't trapped for hours...

Bah! I forgot about this. I started sketching some stuff when it was announced, then it slipped my mind. Hopefully I'll be able to finish in time.

Regardless of whether or not it's a keylogger website, advertising here it usually a no-no.

So I checked out this Travelogue. Honestly, I was underwhelmed by the first few sections. Then I got to the bit about the major philosophical split in Gnomish society being about whether or not it is possible, or desirable, to create God. And I realized that, yes, this is exactly the question that all Gnomish debate would ultimately lead to, and I also immediately knew, without having to think about it, what position each of my Gnomes would have on this issue. Haven't read much further, but the guy understands the Gnomish race to a depth I've not yet seen in WoW fiction.

Just a quick reminder, those who want to find a physical description of the narrator should look in the Tirisfal Glades section, third paragraph from the top. I'll paste it here for convenience's sake:
"Even in life I looked fragile, like a stick figure given flesh, and death has added its tell-tale mark. My light green eyes are gone, replaced by dusty sockets. The skin on my bones, once simply pale, now has the ashen quality of undeath. Though most Forsaken let their dried hair grow wild, I have maintained the close-cropped style of my life, the dark brown color bleached out to dun. Like most of my brethren, my clothes consist of castoffs; faded black trousers and a tattered gray great coat that reaches to my knees."

So i take it this contest was extended because no one entered?

Thanks for giving me my new addiction.
Seriously though, I started off reading the Silithus section and just couldn't stop. I keep wanting to go through all of those sections of Azeroth that he's describing and see them again with a fresh perspective. Excellent website, excellent writer, and if I was any kind of artist I would definitely enter the contest.
But wait--he did say he was kind of a stick figure with hair and a trench coat. I wonder if I could manage that?
