Around Azeroth: An imperfect symmetry
Zeprimus of <Premonition> on Windrunner got bored while traveling through Hellfire Peninsula, as we all do from time to time. So he decided to summon some fel spirits with his totems and a convenient evil-looking circle. Of course, he's a draenei, so his definition of "fel spirits" would be considered "mildly naughty spirits" by the rest of the Alliance, and "freaking angels" by the Forsaken. He ended up summoning Clarence from It's A Wonderful Life.
Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see them on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as emailing aroundazeroth@wow.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word "Azeroth" in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, Val'kyr on mounts or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran. Older screenshots can be found here.

I loved the description for this screenshot, good job. :) And wow, I JUST noticed the skeleton in the bottom left. It blends in so well.

Haha, yeah, I definitely could have moved a little up and to the right a tad bit. Oh well, looked cool anyway :P

Having just done all the draenei starter quests (being horde, I've never really bothered with alliance races, and am now doing them all as a pre-Cata project), I can confirm they really are the goody-two-shoes race of WoW. I think they're even more 'peace, love and mung-beans, baby' than the night elves. So reading about the freaking angelic draenei fel spirits gave me a giggle.

This is true; the Draenei are the most noble of the Alliance's races, the one that most often practices the ideals they preach. A lot of players (Horde players in particular) have this image of Night Elves as peacenik hippies, which couldn't be further from the truth! Tauren are the peacenik ones, and love nature even more than the Night Elves. Blood Elves are the prissy oh-my-god-I-just-broke-a-NAIL ones. Night Elves, well, they love them some nature ... but they're also religious zealots bent on the extermination of anyone who wrongs the Goddess. A lot of people seem to miss the frothing-at-the-mouth "ELUNE AKBAR!" side of them ... admittedly it's not as overt in WoW as it was in WCIII and TFT.
