It also means no more annoying "leftover scraps" of badges. I don't know about anyone else, but I've got quite a few leftovers from old tiers... five or six Ulduar-level badges, a handful of ToC-badges, and there's absolutely nothing I can do with them. Oh sure, once I don't need Triumphs anymore I could downgrade them into an even number and buy orbs and sell those, but really what's the point? The new system sounds like it will be much more intuitive.Say I have seven Old Points and twenty New Points going into a patch. After the patch, instead of having seven Oldest Points, twenty Old Points and no New Points, I now have twenty-seven Old Points and no New Points. And hey, I can purchase Orb of the Old Tier with my Old Points and sell it for a bit of gold. I like it. I wish they weren't called points but that's a semantics issue. It sounds like it will be much, much smoother and Blizz learned from the confusing tangle of badges we had this expansion.
