FigurePrints announces Busts
FigurePrints announced that they are now creating busts of your character. You give them your character's name and server and they will produce a statuette of your character's head and shoulders on a World of Warcraft labeled stand. They are being offered now at $69.95, which is quite a bit less than the full statuette at $129.95.
Half the fun of this announcement is the fact that you can get a preview of what your character's bust will look like. You can choose to not show the helm, cloak and/or tabard. Or you can have your character wear one of several armor sets available.
I don't know if this was announced today in honor of Boobquake, but I like to think it is. Perhaps it's just the romantic in me.

Umm...Ok, nice to know you can bring some output onto this post. SO are you gonna go tell all your friends you commented on a website before anyone else did without giving any output AT ALL on the actually post? Go back to Elmo's World. (It is a nice place usually, the crayons have a nice personality.)

My mind immediately went to a dirty place when I read that headline.
Hehe.
Qot Apr 26th 2010 4:53PM
It's really a perfect complement to today's Queue.
Zayd Apr 26th 2010 4:35PM
and yet in so many ways...last.
Robin Torres Apr 26th 2010 4:37PM
Sorry I deleted the "first" guy because I agreed with you, so now your comment has been orphaned.
Zayd Apr 26th 2010 4:39PM
I'd rather you delete that chump and orphan my post than the alternative don't worry.
Zayd Apr 26th 2010 4:36PM
I'd love to have one of my ud rogue in sexy bloodfang gear.
Eregos ftw! Apr 26th 2010 4:42PM
I am so sorry, but this is way too much money that I will be paying to get shoulders and head of my character...
Erzfiend Apr 26th 2010 4:48PM
Gee, WoW.com sure is boobtastic today.
Not complainin', just sayin'.
It would be pretty cool to have a little statue of my lock, but wow, 130 bucks.
Tokkar Apr 26th 2010 6:32PM
70 bucks - the full statue is 130.
Erzfiend Apr 28th 2010 11:25AM
Yeah, well, I was referring the full statue.
Guess I wasn't clear enough in my first post.
Personally I think the bust looked a bit odd for my toon, and the full one looked a lot cooler with his staff and everything.

Just slightly off-topic...
...but the from the subject's header; you guys might of started off a major earthquake in Iran. Just saying... >.>

Looks pretty ridiculous without arms, especially on a character with large shoulder pads where you can't see the stubs intended to remind you of an ancient statute with the arms removed.
Qot Apr 26th 2010 5:22PM
Shaman Tier 10 on an orc. It looks absolutely ridiculous.
Oreet Apr 26th 2010 5:36PM
130 is for the full size statue.
70 is for the bust.
Oreet Apr 26th 2010 5:39PM
that was meant to be a reply to a post that was saying it was 130 for the bust, and now i don't see that post anymore. please ignore this, and move along.
Tokkar Apr 26th 2010 6:33PM
...and I fail as well, replying to it with what you posted. Yep...Mercury is most definitely in retrograde.

The image used in today's "The Queue" might be more appropriately used for this column.
taijathehuntress Apr 26th 2010 8:52PM
too bad their site doesn't say how big or small these things are.
