Icepyro: your points are excellent and I agree with you that the problem with the worgen is pretty unsurmountable from a lore point of view.But for the goblins there is an easy solution. So some poor goblin gets captured, turned into a DK, manages to break free, etc., and tries to return to work at her father's business in Steamwheedle, only to be told to take a hike because having a DK in the family firm would just scare customers away. So she goes to Orgrimmar because she heard other DK's were being accepted into service with the Horde and because of the Horde's special relationship with goblin nations / companies even before a particular set of goblins were accepted into the Horde.I don't plan on making a goblin DK, but if I did, I'd definitely use that backstory.
