- World of Wallpapers has been putting out simple yet stunning WoW wallpapers for some time now. The problem isn't finding one you like; the problem is picking a single favorite for your desktop. (Personally, I'm planning to solve that problem with a slideshow screensaver of my top picks.)
- Go wide with these panoramic views of the wide world -- literally -- of Azeroth. Creator Cybear has been hard at work creating panoramic views of areas that will be changing come Cataclysm. (As of this writing, he had yet to settle on a final host for the files; please be patient should the bandwidth be temporarily exceeded. They're worth checking back for!)
- While we're on the subject of artwork, if you use Firefox as your web browser, head over to GetPersonas.com and check out the growing collection of WoW personas, which add artwork to your web browser's borders and function areas. We'd been waiting to mention these until more were available, but a tip from reader Akussa (thanks!) showed that the selection is coming along nicely.

I love WoW backgrounds and I love it even more when my GF rolls her eyes when she logs on and see's a different one

Could not get the link to the wallpapers to work. Says forbidden. That makes me a sad panda. Maybe there is an alternate link? If so please post please so I can go ape and download some. Thank you Miss Lisa!

Host cut access to my wallpaper blog, despite unlimited bandwidth. I am one uphappy customer. I'll post when I have it resolved. Sorry guys. >.

Argh, please downrate the truncated comment from me! Doubly sad. ;__;
As I was going to say ... Sadness! I love your wallpapers, Elfennau! Hope to see that the site is up soon so others can enjoy them.

Well, you could always go upgrade to Windows 7, it has a built in option to allow your desktop background to change every so often (you can change the time between changes) so you can do what I do and use all of these beautiful shots. =D

Got Windows 7 but I still use Webshots. I just need the site to work so I can showcase some of the desktop shots on my desktop. I also use Firefox persona and Have King Wrynn up there now; the most misunderstood emo guy in all of Warcraft.

I guess noone except me has 4:3 screens anymore? :(
Wolftech Apr 26th 2010 12:49PM
I think my phone is 4:3...
... nope it is widescreen too.. sorry.
zweitblom Apr 26th 2010 11:31AM
Maybe you should *tell* people before you link to their websites...
lisapoisso Apr 26th 2010 11:38AM
Why would you assume we don't do that as a matter of practice?
elfennau Apr 26th 2010 3:35PM
They DID tell me, and my host assured me it was unlimited bandwidth and shouldn't be an issue. I guess they didn't realize the scope of what I was trying to get across to them.

Strangely, I find the fact that sites break down because of wow.com links quite amusing. No offense, but it really speaks for itself :)
Fatbeard Apr 27th 2010 12:33PM
@elfennau Any ETA on when your site will be back up?
