The Queue: Your turn

There you go, ladies. I told you I wouldn't leave you out. Enjoy your Clooney, the classiest man in the world. And you thought I was going to inflict the Twilight boys on you again. Bah. Bah, I say.
wulfishmojo asked:
"When the Cataclysm beta hits, will the Ask a Beta Tester feature return or will The Queue field all of our beta questions?"
We haven't completely decided yet. It's probably going to depend on how many pre-Cataclysm questions we still get when the beta rolls around. Can we justify running both? Do we have enough content for both? If the answer to those questions is yes, we'll do both. However, while trying to write The Queue it is becoming increasingly obvious that the community at large is pretty burned out on the current game. So we'll see what happens, no decision has been made yet.
nicholasnonno asked:
"Has the actual size of Azeroth ever been figured out? Officially or unofficially?"
People have tried to calculate the size of Azeroth as it's represented in WoW, but WoW doesn't represent the actual size of Azeroth. The game world is pretty condensed. All of the fluff and extra space in between landmarks has been yanked out. There are no residential areas and things of that sort. As it is represented in WoW, it's been calculated that the world is about 12km across, which is small. Really small.
Raziel783 asked:
"Do you think we will ever see a legendary that does not require 25-man raiding?"
If there were ever a time that this would happen, it's Cataclysm. With the Cataclysm raid changes bringing 10 and 25-man raiding even closer together, there's less and less justification for keeping legendaries in only 25-mans. It's possible that they'll keep it 25-man exclusive to reward those raids for the greater logistical effort involved, but that seems very odd if they're trying to remove gear as a consideration when choosing your raid.
Rantark asked:
"Weren't the press beta invites sent out? Why haven't we heard anything else since then?"
They did not send out press beta invitations. They sent out press beta invitation invitations. The press is being invited to accept the opportunity to get a beta key some time in the future.
Pretty sweet, I know.

jfink114 Apr 28th 2010 1:28PM
lol @ archbaotho... just lol.
Endario Apr 28th 2010 1:35PM
Hey hey, I said nothing about kicking him out of bed.
I'm just sayin' he was an uninspired choice. It's like saying Brad Pitt is hot or that a pizza party with Taylor Lautner and John McCain would be freaking amazing: it goes without saying.

@Endario
How about the cast of the Ocean's Eleven remake?Surely that more than makes up for the Clooney...
G01851 Apr 28th 2010 1:55PM
Totally agree... we need a real hunk.
scotttopic Apr 28th 2010 1:59PM
the men who stare at goats was pretty funny if you ask me.

WoWInsider, please be kind enough to ignore this heathen. My reaction upon seeing this image was a gargled combination of a shriek and a giggle (which I then had to explain to my officemate. Thank God she has a sense of humor).
Warcraft and Clooney, the two great tastes that taste great together. I feel like the first person to try a Reese's. Thank you, you have made my fangirly day.

@ archbaotho
Clooney, is a Man's Man. He is not a Woman's Man (hence why he's still unmarried/mostly single, etc. and every guy out there has a man-crush on him). And while I agree with Endario that I wouldn't kick him outta bed, he's not first choice.
I knew I shoulda lobbied harder for Channing Tatum...

I agree - George Clooney is a beautiful man, but how are we supposed to comment on his boobies??
dawnseven Apr 28th 2010 3:15PM
Clooney Alex ??? He's fairly good, but you consider him an adequate "for the ladies" submission on par with Miss Fun Bags? Really?
Though I guess we should be glad you didn't toss up picture of Mr. Rossi in all his hairy mandom.
Dreyja Apr 28th 2010 3:42PM
Oh come ON! The gals had WAY more hot-nerd appeal. Clooney is just.. meh.
I WANTS VIGGO Or HUGH!!! ;-p Please get one of the ladies at wow.com to chose the eye-candy for the girls, not what one of you GUYS thinks we drool over. ;-p
Tayla Apr 28th 2010 3:57PM
Clooney is a close second, for me, to Sean Connery.
Sean only wins because of his voice.
/swoon
That man could read the phone book and i would avidly listen for hours.
Dreyja Apr 28th 2010 4:07PM
I revise my comment. Nathan Fillion IS the posterboy we need in here.
Make It So! ;-p /hugs /plz /puppy-dog-eyes
Hollow Leviathan Apr 28th 2010 4:38PM
While Nathan Fillion would be the obvious nerd-swoon, Edward Norton or my personal choice, Cillian Murphy, would both work great.
Also totally unfair: us women-ogglers got two pics each of the girls but you only post one pic of mancandy? In the interests of fairness, you need to edit another pose into the middle of the article.

George Clooney does NOTHING for me! Bleh. Fail!
I am so looking forward to Cata Beta. As long as it is covered in full and awesome detail, I don't care how it gets covered. The only thing more exciting than reading Cata posts will be if I win a Beta key myself (which I did for Wrath, awesome)!!
Tori Apr 28th 2010 1:07PM
Hehe, yeah can't say Clooney's ever done much for me either. x)
They should have stuck with fan service artwork of Illidan's cheese-grating abs or something. ;)
kunukia Apr 28th 2010 1:09PM
Don't get me started on which star(s) I would LIKE to gawk at...
ahem...
