That's truly a honorable thing to do. It's a shame you already have the achievements. I'm in the emberstorm battlegroup, and I would've loved helping someone like you still. Perhaps I'll try the same thing, but to help the horde seeing how I'm alliance.

I foresee a long week of painful bgs ahead for me in Ruin. Especially because my "achievement toon" is now about three tiers of gear behind everyone else.

Since I play alliance, where picking up the WSG flag is about the most masochistic thing one can possibly do (right behind queueing for WSG in the first place), I haven't tried to grab a WSG flag in... oh... years. Do you still drop it by right-clicking the buff?

Yep. That's the method to use. And I plan on doing that *alot*.

Whichever Blizzard developer that thought making EoS part of this achievement would be a good idea needs to be punched in the face for an hour or two. I'm sure they would enjoy that about as much as I enjoy dying for hours in EoS at the hands of greedy players who are trying to prevent not only the opposite faction from gaining this achievement, but many times steal it out from under their own teammates to be jerks. I thought people were crummy to players of the other faction, but man, some people are evil to their own teammates (like the healer who let the flag carrier die at the last moment so they could scoop up the flag and cap it themselves in one EoS battle -- that was cold).
