The day its confirmed that this movie is in production, is the day i quit. Im embarrased enough to say that I play WoW to people who arent WoW playersBut this movie will show a glimpse of the fantasy world that I play in, so i gotta separate myself from WoW.Of course i myself will go to see the movie, while incredibly drunk. Because well, i like WoW but cant let anyone besides other players know this.

Yeah, a hobby shared with a significant percentage of the planet's population is something to be ashamed about.....

That's really sad. Why do you care so much about what other people think that you hide your hobbies? Ask yourself something - if someone makes fun of you for playing WoW, does what they think matter? Why are you letting them affect how you act?I'm not saying you should get your entire wardrobe from Jinx or that you should talk only in WoW terms, or that you should go around with a big yellow ! mounted over your head in hopes that someone will come up to you and ask for a quest. I'm saying that you have absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about.Think about it this way - if you were a huge sports nut, would you be ashamed to admit it? I doubt it. You'd be proclaiming your favorite teams and wearing the jerseys and getting into endless arguments about statistics and coaches, like every other sports nut out there. *grin* It's the same thing as being really into WoW, just a different kind of geekdom.Something else: I've never been made fun of for playing WoW, by anyone I told that I play - not friends, not family, not co-workers. I've answered questions about it, cleared up misconceptions, but never had anyone say anything bad about me because of it. And besides, anyone who makes fun of you for liking WoW would make fun of you for liking *anything* they don't like. People who mock others are just like that. And they aren't worth worrying about. You can have a good time without making anyone else feel bad, so you're already a better person than them.I say all this not to be mean, not to lecture you, but because I used to be the same way. I talked quietly about comics and video games with my friends in high school, because I didn't want the dumbasses who populate every high school to have another way to make fun of a geeky kid like me. It took going to college to get over that. I hope you can find a way to get over it too, to let your geek flag fly high and proud, because I think you'll be a happier person for doing so."Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." --Dr. Seuss

significant percentage of the planet's population?! 0.01791044% of the world's pop plays WoW.One thousandths of a percent plays WoW. Yeah its significant alright.Oh and at the other guy. Dont give me paragraph answers, i dont read no walls of text. More than 5 lines = skip.Oh and where I am, playing WoW is regarded as a drug, No-joke-drug. "This guy is on Cocaine, this guy smokes, and this guy plays WoW"P.S. Im one of those EXTREME-introverts through no fault of my own. I cant talk to people (face-to-face) i mean w/o being heavily sedated. Social Phobia FTL. oh and its a real disease. So yeah I do care what other people think about me.

I just read (or is it red?) the long answer. Im sorry if my previous reply seems offensive, i dont mean to be. But dude, yeah. I dont say what my favorite sports team is, i dont cheer. I stay the hell away from everybody. The less people know about me, the better. NO ONE knows what my favorite OS is, color, sports teams, etc.Of course to counter this insane problem, i drink at times, and when i do, its a lot. And i say things I want to but cant and that bites me in the ass.Hell, just writing this very reply made me sweat damn it.Aw what the hell, im outta here - aint commenting anymore

Not to seem calloused or anything, but you have a lot of issues. Some of these you are aware of, some you may not be.Introverted: understandable.Under peer pressure: understandable. Now you combine the above with alcohol, seem to have a low attention span and you are easily angered.I say this in all sincerity: if you can find a counselor that works pro bono or within the constraints of what you are able to afford, you may wish to consider it. I'm not trying to upset you, I'm not being sarcastic like "dude, seek help", I'm being genuine. At least give it consideration, if you haven't already.I've said my peace, take it as you will or leave it as you want. You've already stated that you're done commenting, and no reply is needed. That being said...how 'bout them Dodgers?

Damn, have you got issues. Do you just log off and sit huddled up in the shower and weep uncontrollably? Do you name your ulcers after important lore figures?Come on, it could be worse. You could be into stamps or Pokemon or fantasy baseball.

Can't really see why its embarrassing? Unless of course you're simply trolling (if you are and judging by some of the replies you're probably having a pretty nice lol right about now), of course maybe you're not trolling and you're some teenage alcoholic with serious issues... oh well fate, destiny their all lies, you choose your life and your actions so enjoy them (Of course this statement might itself simply be a lie and a poor attempt of mine to justify my schadenfreude moment).Anyway when/if the movie comes out I hope might find some enjoyment from it, I know I sure will :D
