Daily Cataclysm Screenshot

The latest Cataclysm screenshot from Blizzard is shown above, featuring a look at a goblin rocket! I wonder if this is a mode of transportation or a doodad? Either way, it looks like it's in -- or at least aiming at -- Stonetalon Mountains. What's left of them in Cataclysm, anyway.

I'm a tank. My daily life consists of:

* Getting punched in the face
* Getting dragon's flaming breath in my face
* Getting swords stuck in me
* Eating magic bolts
* Dodging claws/swords/maces/teeth/other bad stuff

I think in can handle a puny little rocket just fine :p.

I'm a tank, and unless I have the correct cloak equipped at least 30 seconds before I hit the ground, even I can't dodge the incoming damage.

You can't dodge the ground. It also doesn't care about your defense rating.

When you're falling through the empty white abyss below the level, you can't help but wish that you hadn't.

The trick for learning flight is pretty easy. You just have to fall without hitting the ground, that is the hard part.

Perfectly safe... trust me.

Unlike the X-53 rocket with ejecting passenger seat... no parachute, no problem!

By the way, the rocket in the screenshot is the X-51, old model rocket.

Goblin outpost flightpath.
Choose the direction you wanna fly and launch away. Being Goblin made, it has a 14.667% (repeating of course) chance of instantly plummeting to the earth after launch.

Actually, if it's goblin-made, you're more likely to have it blow up. While you're riding it. Straddling it, incidentally.

I'll take the gnomish back massager of an airplane any day.
