Night Elf mohawk returns, new commercial
According to the official World of Warcraft website, the Night Elf mohawk is returning in-game.

The video above is a new nationally televised commercial.
Players can get the Mohawk Grenades from characters positioned outside the starting zone. We're checking now to see if the grenades are active in the game yet (again). They were originally in Azeroth as part of WoW's five year anniversary celebration.
Jackalopes and the moon landing might be myths – but the Night Elf Mohawk is real, suckas! For a limited time, Mr. T's Night Elf Mohawk returns to Azeroth to hand out his signature grenades while a new nationally televised commercial takes over the airwaves. Watch the new spot at Blizzard's YouTube Channel or click to learn more about the mohawk grenade and how you can claim your own in-game.

Raynier May 3rd 2010 12:31PM
I pity da... myself?

^This.
Time to head to Darnassus, where no one goes, and do all my business.

Some people just don't like costumes, like being turned into a skeleton or pirates... or in this case have a mohawk. These people seriously need to lighten up.

I know this is SO LAME. OMG so sick of this crap. What's worse than crap? Recycled crap.
Most of the people that seem to like this crap are the same ppl that are:
1. Children
2. Forum Trolls
3. That guy who changes/gets kicked out of his guild every week.
4. That guy that feels the need to explain how to win WSG every time in the lvl 80 bracket.
5. That guy who flames everyone on the forums from the safety of his lvl 1 gnome.
6. Ninjas and Ne'er do wells

Dont bother binding a macro just use this addon,
http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/stopthefool.aspx
thanks to the guy who wrote it. He hasnt updated it since 3.2 but i imagine it will work if you load it out of date.

Can you tell that I really, really don't like the stupid grenade? I would rather be afflicted by the dropping of the train 15 times than have one stupid grenade applied to me.
TR May 3rd 2010 1:32PM
@Gimmlette
Indeed. The last time it was in the game is the reason why I stick to AH in Exodar. Rarely more than 1 person in there, mailbox right outside, bank (and another mailbox) a few yards away, and trade goods, etc. in between. :)
@Todd
Riiight. Maybe if they wanted that they'd do it themselves? I'm guessing you're one of the people that QQ'd when the Wind Up Train Wrecker came out? Meet Lil XT: Your Toy Train Set = Instant cast/30 Min Cooldown when wrecked; my Lil' XT = Instant cast/No Cooldown after wrecking your Toy Train Set. Game. Set. Match. :)
Glaras May 3rd 2010 1:53PM
"It got old really fast." Like, immediately after the first one got lobbed into the crowd around the mailbox.
K May 3rd 2010 2:18PM
I pity those who still think the moon landing was a hoax...
Bronwyn May 3rd 2010 3:03PM
@Luci
That seems extreme, considering you can easily click off the buff, whereas a train is harder to get rid of without spending a lot of gold.
justin.vanantwerp May 3rd 2010 3:17PM
I'm betting the marketing guys at Blizz saw an opportunity to grab some spill-over from the upcoming A-team publicity.
Luci May 3rd 2010 3:51PM
@Bronwyn
I was intentionally being extreme lol
I do however think it is the most lame thing in the entire world (of warcraft)
and I imagine all the people who downrated me are on people who are on that list XD
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Agony May 3rd 2010 3:59PM
No, Luci, I think the people who downrated you did so because you're being a douche.
Luci May 3rd 2010 4:03PM
Lol I don't see why all the hate is being directed at me. I did not birth Mr. T.
Besides, I was obviously being a drama queen. All you ppl saying the Mr. T haters need to lighten up could also lighten up. We are all just upset about different things.
Personally, I love the humor and pop-culture references in WoW. It would be different if they took something awesome and ran with it, but something lame? I was so happy when they did away with it the first time, and like many others have said if they did a marketing promo with Shatner or something then that would be nice, but recycling lame content is double lame.

I'm not an RPer, I don't role-play and I don't play on an RP server, but I still cringe when I see this.
Awwjwah May 3rd 2010 12:19PM
It was barely funny the first time and was annoying 1 day after that.
kittytrainer May 3rd 2010 12:19PM
/shudder at the thought of 1000 Mr. T's in Dalaran.......
extreme4241 May 3rd 2010 12:19PM
I liked that one commercial with the director and Mr. T says "Shut up fool!"
that Mr. T commercial was the bomb
Primeval May 3rd 2010 12:20PM
why WHY!?!?!?!... /cowers in the corner..
