Hunter beats Wrath of the Lich King

Zoltan appears to be both in the same guild as Caspi, as well as very close to him in achievements points. I, for one, would like to take a moment and say on behalf of hunters everywhere to paladins everywhere: neener neener!
Achievement points and achievements in general are an interesting mini-game, in that while you can earn points, there's nothing you can do to spend them. Still, it's a very difficult accomplishment that requires mastery of many other parts of the game. Some of the achievements that go into this take ridiculous amounts of skill, resources, luck and patience.
Tip of the hat to Caspi!

WoW, He (probably) has no life at all.
And don't BS into saying im jealous or he does, it's not true at all. :|

Because people commenting on a World of Warcraft blog should be telling people they have no life.
How did all those holes get in your glass house?
Blue-tounge May 4th 2010 6:07PM
Yeah, because unlike him, I don't spend 24/7 on this game, I have a life, he doesn't, simple.
Fierna May 4th 2010 6:48PM
I would imagine though that you would have some level of understanding since a lot of people see all video games as a waste of time and many avid gamers regard MMO's as an even bigger waste of time.
You both have the same 168 hours a week to spend as you see fit. You both spend some of it in WoW. What amazing things are you accomplishing with your time on Earth that make you feel like you can sneer at Caspi?

As someone above said something similar, there's only 3 possible ways to do this. 1, He is on permanent disability and this is all he does. 2, He is absurdly rich and easily afford to spend time doing whatever he wants. The 3rd is that he cheats by allowing multiple people to use the character, hence taking much less of a toll on anyone. I'm not sure which is more likely.

I wonder if a little sign came up when he got the last achievement that said "Game Over. Play Again?"
jbodar May 4th 2010 9:45PM
It was the Character Creation screen and the dialog was, "OK seriously, roll an alt. You win."

This should be titled "Hunter beats WoW... for now" as when 3.3.5 comes out, there will probably be 6-10 more achievements to get =P

Good job. Now try it with a harder class.
Aaron May 5th 2010 7:39AM
I think you are insane in the membrane by default just for doing so many. XDDD
TheKarmaPolice May 5th 2010 8:25AM
She doesn't even have the Insane title!

To address everything fully:
1) Grats!
2) Caspi was Casperle from the guild UndisputeD on EU-Terrordar. Then, name changed to Caspi. Then, faction changed to Alliance. Then, server transferred to EU-Taerar and joined Refuge. The faction change explains the date "problem" people are seeing.
3) I wouldn't say he spends as much time in game as people say. Refuge clears 11/12 Heroic ICC 25 in around 4 hours. That's efficient and something many guilds can't clear no matter how much time they spend. www.worldoflogs.com/guilds/41452/calendar/04-10/
4) If anyone still believes that you cannot really get this many achievements, I will refer you to:

It was a close race! This page lists everyone (that I am aware of) in the top 100 except

When he was interviewed on March 23rd 2010 he stated he had 491 days /played, and had started at release, February 11, 2005, on his Hunter
February 11, 2005 --> March 23rd, 2010 = ~1870 days
491 / 1870 * 100 = 26.25% of the time in wow
24 / 100 * 26.25 = 6.3 hours played per day on average.
this figure is based on the data provided, some rounding has been done, it also assumes he started playing on the first day, and assumes that he has played every day since release, any days where he didn't play, or if he didn't start straight from release, will increase this figure.
ouch
