So let me get this right, people who have already done it can't, but if you just started this year, you'll be able to do it next year as well? How is that fair?

It's simple. Orphan Matron Aria is a socialist.

It's not, and no one is saying it is. That's just the way it is, though. As we've seen, they're almost always able to fix these holiday bugs, but this one's just not worth the resource allocation at this time. I trust Blizzard's assessment of that. Try not to drown in the spilled milk.

The way I understand it, those who did the Dalaran orphan quests when they were introduced last fall effectively got to do that portion of this year's Children's Week several months early. Those quests were not yet available during Children's Week 2009, so those were really a sneak preview of the 2010 quests. From that perspective, nobody is out anything. If you can't pick up the Dal quests now it's because you did them already for this year. Nobody will have both the Oracle and Wolvar pets until Children's Week 2011. It sounds eminently fair to me. Why all the QQ?

"The way I understand it, those who did the Dalaran orphan quests when they were introduced last fall effectively got to do that portion of this year's Children's Week several months early."It was stated when the quests were introduced last fall that they were originally intended to be introduced in 2009's Children's Week but due to time constraints, were not. If no one was intended to be able to repeat the quests until the 2011 Children's Week there was no reason to for them to implement them in the fall on 2009 in what players were led to believe was akin to a one-time rescheduling of the quest."If you can't pick up the Dal quests now it's because you did them already for this year." Not technically. I did them in last year's make up that you prefer to consider a sneak preview. See, it's all in how you look at it."Why all the QQ?" Because people don't like to wait.

Rajah, nice to see someone out there is looking at this from the same perspective I am instead of bringing out the pitchforks and torches (Seriously, the amount of rage on the official forum post is staggering to say the least).Personally, I think of it as the holidays have a 1 year cooldown. You did your Shattrath Orphan chain last year? Hey! It's off cooldown. However, those who did their Dalaran orphan in the fall, it's still on Cooldown. Downside? The event doesn't last until they come off of cooldown. Next year? All quests will be off of cooldown and ready to do!Perfect world? No. But hardly enough to storm the gates of Blizzard over imo.
