To replace your fubar, I recommend looking into something like Statblock Core. You can use any lib data feed, and SBC latches together side-side or tob-bottom. I was going to crop an image down, but I'm lazy, so you get the whole picture:

I have my SBC modules huddled around my minimap. You may also want to look into something like pminimap. It's much, much more lightweight than sexymap, and if you're just going for a square shape, why have all the extra fluff?
