This is a pretty neat little video created by WoPairs. Since he just hit 2,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel, he wanted to put together a video to celebrate the landmark. And thus was created the 2k Mini Machinima. Take the time to enjoy it; the video isn't very long.
WoPairs has been around for a while and helped created dozens of machinima. I think it's cool that he's starting to build a subrscriber base, and I'm doubly impressed that he took the time to announce this milestone. So, congratulations to WoPairs; I enjoyed your 2k Mini Machinima.
Interested in the wide world of machinima? We have new movies every weekday here on WoW Moviewatch! Have suggestions for machinima we ought to feature? Toss us an e-mail at machinima AT wow DOT com.
So a belf female mines for ores and jumps around on a motorbike for a bit. Sure it was well-timed and I'm sure there's lots of talent and skill that has gone into making this, but... I can't help thinking that this video was utterly pointless. Music was pretty painful too.
Okay, seriously, what was the point of this video?
Look...it's a hot blood elf. Let's look at her cleavage. Now let's make her work. Now let's have her on a motorcycle and have it jump around like a showcar from Tijuana.
All while using a motion blur.
Constantly.
Okay, so this was to celebrate his milestone of 2,000 subscribers, so that's cool and all...but as a video by itself? Or one worth featuring on Moviewatch? This one falls horribly flat.
This was a triumph... no no really. I understand it was a literal reproduction of the original Satisfaction music video but it was missing all the graphic design bells and whistles that came along with the video.
Also what is with the complete lack of variation in the shots? Once the bike showed up nothing new was introduced.
I dunno, I thought it was funny. I don't think WoPairs was trying to make something groundbreaking and epic, just a fun little bonus for his subscribers. If you haven't seen the original commercial, here's a link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEIVFKF29l4 . That might help it make more sense.
what the heck is happening to wow.com? this website used to be a good place to go to keep up on the game, i used to tell pple in the game to come here to check out all the new game news and to get tips on gameplay. but now it just seems like you guys are not even trying anymore. oh and imo this video sux . come on mr. gray i know you could have found better....... this film maker must be a guildie or a friend or something because i can not understand why you even showed this video.

The 'point' was to be a literal reproduction of the original "Satisfaction" music video, although I agree that it was not very well done..

A very lazy video indeed.

No?

Indeed.
It's a "Thank you 2000 subscribers" video. It doesn't have any real point and is nothing special to begin with.
It's not even a "fan service" if you ask me... I just don't know what to think of it. It's more of a test render than anything else.

I only liked the bit where the bike fell over :P
But that might be the sadistic part of me speaking...

Machinima doesn't fall from a tree and you can't have Blind on moviewatch every single day. :p

It was a vry un-polished machinima i can see that, and was just a quick thank you.
With the state of my laptop I couldn't make a polished machinima.
But thank you everyone for your constructive comments :)
