Around Azeroth: The end of the line
To conclude Nostalgia Week, we present this picture and letter from Ebbandflow of the Windrunner server. "Here's a shot I took of Org after a long day of grinding dungeons," he writes. "Watching the dust settle on this old city that will soon be unrecognizable really brought home to me the changes that are about to occur. The sun is going down on the old to be covered in a blanket of night forever, but with that will come new adventures and new challenges. It's time to let go of the familiar and embrace the unknown."
Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see them on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@wow.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word "Azeroth" in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, Val'kyr on mounts, or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran. Older screenshots can be found here.

That was the most poetic WoW-related paragraph I have ever heard. Bravo, Ebbandflow.

"on this old city"
Which one? :D
Orgrimmar is younger than me... (even in game-years)

The thing I'm going to miss more than anything else in Cataclysm?
"On top of Org Bank"
Never again will I be able to stand upon my beloved perch, watching the world go by. Truly it was the greatest roof in all of WoW.

A friend and I sat on one of the hut's roofs and watched traffic as I waited for a bg queue. Nice quiet place in the midst of the bustling city.
Hopefully there will be nice little perches like that in Garrosh's Org. Am I the only one GLAD to see the trolls got the Valley of Spirits?

Didn't they already have it?

1) How did they get into the position to take this photo? (private server?)
and
2) Why is there a questgiver '?' floating in the air on the right?
Epic picture though :-)

Shaman far sight can get you some fairly interesting places, even on live servers.

Also, if you zoom in on the ? floating in The air, you'll notice a small box around it. That's the toggle for QuestHelpers objective tracker.

There is a lot of changes comming- changes both good and bad. I've been playing WOW as long as it's life pretty much...to see all these things change is really kind of sad. Despite how nerdy that is, it's true. It's like a catacslym hitting our planet and changing the face of earch forever. Sure, we'd make adjustments and stuff like the Azerothians have. But knowing the world will never be the same again? That is just quite crazy...for the changes like Ogrimmar and Stormwind, it really is going to be- in some sense- a sad sight.

Dead hourglass of time
Sand we will not ever find
We gather here today
Say goodbye
Cause you've reached the end of the line.

I wonder if underwater walking will work like normal walking, or something different altogether
