Female worgen models and animations datamined

Posters on MMO-Champion's boards have gotten into the Cataclysm alpha and started datamining female worgen models and animations. While the models don't have textures yet (i.e. you're only going to see a bunch of black and not their faces or anything) and some of the animations are placeholders borrowed from existing models (mostly female draenei), this is the first look we're getting at one of Cataclysm's most hotly anticipated features.

So far, this is what we've got in addition to the two YouTube videos above:

The original thread on the MMO-Champion forums: This is huge, but it also includes a few speculative pictures from WoW Model Viewer with worgen models in different tier sets, and both the male and female hairstyles options.
All of the available .gifs of new worgen (both male and female) animations collected in one place: You'll see warrior, rogue, hunter, casting, and several emote animations here (no /dance yet, though). Some of the animations (particularly for the males) are currently bugged with extra arms and floating bracers. Again, some are also placeholders from existing models, so don't freak if they look a little familiar. The new stuff, however, is so amazing it makes me sad for the races with less compelling animations already in the game.

Neither model is currently finished, and while we're unable to 100% verify this information, this is one well-executed hoax if it's not legitimate. Superb job by the dataminers, and many thanks to the tipsters who wrote in!

Adding a tail would be... Yiffy! (and too dangerous, you don't want to make those impressionable teens furrys do you? Fapping over a female dog isn't healthy)

Worgen are currently in the game, just not playable. I rather suspect their height will be remaining exactly the same. Is there you reason you expect playable worgen to be a different height from the existing ones?

All the worgen in game vary in height, some I've seen are smaller than my character (Silverpine) and some are about the same size maybe even a bit bigger (Grizzly hills)

I'd have a hard time imagining it's a hoax. Anyone with a copy of the Alpha and a WoW Model Viewer can see it, and like, at least a dozen different people have been contributing different images.

I was dubious about the female Worgens. But after seeing the warrior animations for one, I cannot resist. I will be race changing my Tauren into a female Worgen the day that Cataclysm comes out.

Good luck on that. You won't be able to race change when the game first comes out, otherwise you would have realm first 85's of the new races in a day or two.

Except, worgen and goblins wont be available for paid race change for some time after Cataclysm hits. Fact.

I know who posted it. It is a definitely a male worgen texture. She was experimenting to get an idea of what it would look like skinned.

Wow, loving the gifs for the male worgen rogue, great to see that the bottom jaw on the male at least seems to be seperately animated, my rogue may have to make a race change once cata hits ... alongside the countless others that will undoubtedly do the same. has anything been mined on their racials yet out of interest ?
