Female worgen models and animations datamined

Posters on MMO-Champion's boards have gotten into the Cataclysm alpha and started datamining female worgen models and animations. While the models don't have textures yet (i.e. you're only going to see a bunch of black and not their faces or anything) and some of the animations are placeholders borrowed from existing models (mostly female draenei), this is the first look we're getting at one of Cataclysm's most hotly anticipated features.

So far, this is what we've got in addition to the two YouTube videos above:

The original thread on the MMO-Champion forums: This is huge, but it also includes a few speculative pictures from WoW Model Viewer with worgen models in different tier sets, and both the male and female hairstyles options.
All of the available .gifs of new worgen (both male and female) animations collected in one place: You'll see warrior, rogue, hunter, casting, and several emote animations here (no /dance yet, though). Some of the animations (particularly for the males) are currently bugged with extra arms and floating bracers. Again, some are also placeholders from existing models, so don't freak if they look a little familiar. The new stuff, however, is so amazing it makes me sad for the races with less compelling animations already in the game.

Neither model is currently finished, and while we're unable to 100% verify this information, this is one well-executed hoax if it's not legitimate. Superb job by the dataminers, and many thanks to the tipsters who wrote in!

I was waiting to see how long it took to get here.

All images or video with textures are using the male texture, they are not the correct texture.

Yeah I've been refreshing the MMOChampion forums, especially the female worgen threads that had popped up. The male worgen have some hair styles now which look okay, I'm hoping more are on the way. Meanwhile, the female worgen have a LOT and they look great. Plus, I love the shoulder armor size, and I hope it's not a bug. It'd be great to play a female toon with huge shoulder armor. The animations are amazing for both genders, I can't wait to see the dances and emotes when they get put in.

I'm starting to like the Worgen more after all this. It's possible that in the final product they could put me off for one reason or another but so far, thumbs up from me. Good job Blizz!

Not a problem Allison. Took several hours to compile what is currently there. Had originally started with only wanting to show the Worgen Male 2H Special attack on my guild's website. However; after seeing the Female Worgen thread I decided to go ahead and contribute to it. =D

I had no idea how big this was going to become and I thank you all for loving the collection so much. =D

I'll try to add more animations sometime in the very near future (Photobucket allowing ofcourse). Especially if anything changes with them in the upcoming weeks.

Awesome animations, especially when she did the kip up after getting knocked down (around 2:50) on the first video. It may seem like a small thing, but someone who grew up watching Shawn Michals it's awesome to see a character in my current favorite video game do one of his signature moves.

Now I just have to decide which character I'm going to race change (using my last character spot for my male Worgen).

If the female Worgen Kick animation looks anything like Sweet Chin Music it's going to be my Rogue main.

Looking at the MMOChamp post and IMO, It's just like I wanted it. Not 100% of some furry shit, but still having it's female sexuality in it. Also it does look a bit more savage at some of the pics, so I think blizz might actually satisfy both the furry-lovers and beasty people ^^

I give a cautious thumbs-up! I was worried we'd get some sexy kitsune fursona thing, but this looks badass while still being clearly feminine.

I personally love the model. The animations are STELLAR, even where they are based on the Draenei animations (which makes sense, given that they both have digitigrade -- three-jointed -- legs).

As a female gamer, I enjoy how they made her pretty, but still very fierce and athletic. GREAT hairstyles, too. The models look great in plate armor. Definitely rolling a female warrior tank!

Wow, this is awesome. I am definately going to create a worgen mage and see how it deferentiates from a human mage and a undead mage. Oh yeah, battles of the year - Worgen Female Mage VS Draenei female Mage & Goblin Warlock VS Gnome Warlock XD will love to see a lvl 85 fight against those 4 factions :)
