Female worgen models and animations datamined

Posters on MMO-Champion's boards have gotten into the Cataclysm alpha and started datamining female worgen models and animations. While the models don't have textures yet (i.e. you're only going to see a bunch of black and not their faces or anything) and some of the animations are placeholders borrowed from existing models (mostly female draenei), this is the first look we're getting at one of Cataclysm's most hotly anticipated features.

So far, this is what we've got in addition to the two YouTube videos above:

The original thread on the MMO-Champion forums: This is huge, but it also includes a few speculative pictures from WoW Model Viewer with worgen models in different tier sets, and both the male and female hairstyles options.
All of the available .gifs of new worgen (both male and female) animations collected in one place: You'll see warrior, rogue, hunter, casting, and several emote animations here (no /dance yet, though). Some of the animations (particularly for the males) are currently bugged with extra arms and floating bracers. Again, some are also placeholders from existing models, so don't freak if they look a little familiar. The new stuff, however, is so amazing it makes me sad for the races with less compelling animations already in the game.

Neither model is currently finished, and while we're unable to 100% verify this information, this is one well-executed hoax if it's not legitimate. Superb job by the dataminers, and many thanks to the tipsters who wrote in!

I wonder if we are going to see the same huge population shift with the Worgen on Alliance side as with the Horde which nowadays consists to 40% of Blood Elf players.

Almost certainly. It's not just the novelty. It's not just the smoother animations. It's not just that people will roll one through the starting zones just to get the story, then may very well continue through the new Cataclysmic world.

It's also that, as Alliance, these are your choices:

Boring old Human. The mundane in the fantasy world. About as exciting as week-old mammoth
Dwarf. Dwarves are kinda cool, but in a way that most people just can't appreciate
Comic-relief midget-race plagued by hydrocephalus
Purple-skinned Elves
Space Goats
WEREWOLVES!!!!

Which would you pick?

Nice animations though, looks very much like a Dranei (sp), especially when sitting down, it's the exact same animation surely?

All fours rocks btw, that looks sexy!

Eh, why? I'll of course roll Alliance to see the starting zone - Gilneas has been a small enigma for a long time, but I doubt I'll keep playing some bipedal wolf much longer than that, reminds me a tad too much of Teen Wolf.

Wow these look great! I do still have a slight concern that the muzzles are a bit short. Just hope Blizz remembers these guys are canine based and NOT feline.

I was going through the WoW Model Viewer (I do not have the alpha) and found newly textured human male and female models with new animations. These are basically only the new casting animations because I myself play a Warlock.

I wouldn't feel bad about the older models it seems like they are getting some love in Cataclysm as well.

WTB Breakfast Topic for favorite animations.

Loving the male Worgen's laugh and cheers, and the female's clap! Not so excited about the 1h special and death animations—I'm not a big fan of spins in combat, probably because IRL spinning around in personal combat is one of the stupidest and most useless things you can do. I know, I know, it's fantasy and has to look cool, but for some reason it breaks verisimilitude for me. Oddly enough, jumping combat animations like the 2h specials, just as ridiculous IRL, don't have the same effect.
