Even though our respective factions have pledged death to the other, I personally hold a great fondness for the Gnomish people. When I was still a fumbling, clumsy engineer more likely to blow myself up rather than the enemy with my poorly built homemade grenades, a gnome was willing to look past our political differences, took me on as an apprentice, and taught me many secrets.
If you could just tell your guards to leave me be, I would come to Gnomeregan with my core hound and we'd not stop until the snows were red with the blood of troggs and your home was free. But, unlike the gnomes, the rest of your faction would see this friend only as an enemy, so all I can do is send my best wishes and give a prayer to the Earthmother on your behalf.
