up for browsing. It is 46 pages and highlights four subjects covered in the 148-page publication:
- Dragons All of the dragonflights are described in detail along with a glossary of all dragon terms.
- 40-man raids Tackling 40-man raids with level 80s

The

This was the FIRST issue or the second? I think it was the second...
Robin Torres May 12th 2010 2:16PM
The first issue was shipped already. This is a preview of the second.
Andhar May 12th 2010 2:56PM
I believe you misunderstood, Robin. You see, this guys is attempting to sneakily declare that he was the first to post a comment on this article by hiding (although not entirely, hence the caps) the word "first" within a sentence. I'll admit, it's a nice change of pace, but no less downrank-worthy. Although perhaps you were just attempting to not feed his desire for recognition, which through this explanation, I have done. My apologies.

Ohhhhhh. /blush
And here I was trying to be helpful.
jbgolsong May 13th 2010 11:22AM
And Props to you madame :)

Robin Torres May 12th 2010 2:16PM

Rommster May 12th 2010 2:16PM
It's the second issue, and it's only available by subscription...can't get it anywhere else. And it's WELL worth it...the first issue was gorgeous. Can't WAIT to get my second one!
Brandon May 12th 2010 2:36PM
People have been getting theirs already. Couple guildies of mine got theirs yesterday.

I got my second issue a few days ago and it's just as nice as the first.
Attack Gypsy May 12th 2010 2:23PM
Kinda sounds like White Dwarf. No adds, except for Games Workshop products.
Transit May 12th 2010 3:23PM
There are similarities to White Dwarf. But WD has ads, they are just for GW related items (Store openings, GW books, etc.) so it doesn't feel like it does. The first issue did not have any of that. (There was no full page ad saying "Buy new non-combat pets on our website", for example). But more or less its the same thing.
However, the warcraft Magazine is REALLY well done visually and has a nice tactile feel to it. It has a better binding then the WD mag, and a bit stronger paper, and the layout is very easy on the eyes.
WD is nice, it really is, and for a monthly it's very well done. But the wow mag is a bit better visually. Content wise I won't make an opinion. I like it, but I like the content in WD too. The down side of course is that wow mag is quarterly.

The second issue of the semi-annual quarterly magazine. :-)
I applied to work for this magazine when it was in development. They've had a really rocky start and have gone through several editors, executives, authors and contributors already. I'm kinda glad I didn't get the job there now.
Gorgeous magazine, though!
Marolas May 12th 2010 5:23PM
I completely agree about the beautiful look of the magazine, but I feel a little ashamed to admit that instead of paying for another subscription fee I'll just be waiting for the relevant info to make its way to WoWwiki.com... >_

I got mine on Monday and it's fantastic; the center pullout is the kind of thing you want to frame. The artwork is fantastic as it was in the first and there also seems to be more original art this time. I've not read every article yet (I'm savoring them) but they all seem well written; the first issue had some issues with content being not so hot or current but this one doesn't suffer that so far.
Evandrial May 12th 2010 2:26PM
looks like the bronze dragonflight finally puts to rest the whole "is chromie a male or female" argument. despite naming, it seems blizzard keeps referring to the dragon as "her."
Evandrial May 12th 2010 2:26PM
typo. meant "the article on the bronze dragonflight"
Galestrom May 12th 2010 2:33PM
I just got this in my mailbox yesterday, and it totally made me giddy. As I was reading its glossy brand of epicism, it occurred to me:
I play World of Warcraft, and am completely stoked when I get my World of Warcraft Magazine.
Yah, I'm such a kid. =)
Lissanna May 12th 2010 2:34PM
The second one is really pretty. The first thing I did was just to go through and look at all the pictures. I haven't read it for actual content yet. :)
