Choose My Adventure: It's Friday, so we must have polls

First, our schedule:
- Fox Van Allen as Foxlight: Friday, 8 p.m. EDT.
- Amy Schley as Patent, Matthew Rossi as Andrenorton, Michael Gray as Grayfields, Adam Holisky as Adammentat, and Gregg Reece as Yakkowakko will be making appearances as they can.
Our three warlocks are all at or near the point where they need to choose their talent trees for leveling. I spoke to Dominic Hobbs, our resident 'lock expert, and he said:
But it's not up to Mr. Hobbs. It's up to you.Belt must be made to play affliction. If he goes destro he's not trying to be a 'lock at all!

Selfloathius should make a level 1 alliance avatar, run to Stormwind and spam abuse at people for at least half an hour before telling them his horde toon's location ("come and get me if you dare"), logging back in and pvp flagging.

I feel a little bad for making Belt play a warlock, so I almost voted for Destruction.
But then I realized how ironic it would be to make Belt use his imp minion, which can cast his beloved Fireball while is stuck with Shadow Bolt.

I voted Destruction! I think it was due to the slight guilt I felt for voting that Archmage Pants play a warlock in the first place :P When he becomes ruler we will all be punished in bad ways for this :( Maybe he'll set his new minions on us!

Don't worry, Mr. Belt. Affliction is the only tree for the mage that plays a warlock. You won't have an imp mocking you with it's fiery spells.

I voted Mr. Trousers to be Affliction cause it will pain him.
I voted Sahko to be Affliction cause it will cause pain to others.
I voted Yakkowakko Affliction cause it wouldn't be the animainiacs without Dot.

A warlock, a druid, and someone else open the lock portal on the edge of Dalaran, and have the druid (flight form) initiate the summoning of Belt over the edge. Watch as Belt goes SPLAT in Crystalsong forest (and then die to level 77 mobs trying to get back to safety).

Why are so many people picking affliction for Selfloathius? Aren't we supposed to make his warlock experience as painful as possible?
Level as destro, IMO! I love it at high levels, but man it was not fun leveling through vanilla content.

The advantage of affliction for Pants is that after a certain point it's really, really hard to kill yourself. I tried once to let my aff warlock die so I could switch to my main (a mage - yes, I'm a traitor) and after three minutes she was still at full health. The spec cancels out any self-destructive tendencies, and we already know he loathes himself.
