I've been running the daily heroics with my 5,7k GS shaman just for the frost emblems. I have yet to see someone being kicked over low DPS. I don't even feel it's a drag to have them, most runs we have someone who's there for the same reason as me, being greatly overgeared and doing like 5-6k DPS. This is what you used to get out of a decent heroic group at the beginning of the expansion. The runs are still quick, and with tanks and healers overgearing there are rarely if ever any issues (might be that I'm an overgeared healer though).

The ingame mail you get when you get your pet pug goes something like "...and hopefully showed a new player a trick or two...". This is what the daily heroics was intended for - geared players giving new players a quick start - a shortcut to the endgame.

Let's not shame the new players out of this intended possibility.
