WoW Moviewatch: Cenarion Circle Promotional Video 2.0

Brian Planas created the Cenarion Circle Promotional Video 2.0 to encourage curious roleplayers to check out the multi-faction opportunities on the Cenarion Circle server. It certainly seems like a friendly group from the film.
The video itself stretches on a bit, but I imagine a lot of that is the loving, detailed attention Brian was giving each scene and group. I wonder if it might get a better response by being a little shorter, but everyone tends to have their own taste about that kind of thing.

I have never played on an RP server. Rather, I usually just make fun of the random RPers I see in BGs and Heroics. Yet somehow, this video has me itching to reroll here and actually dive into it head first. To finally break free from the pressure to run your heroics for your badges and your dailies for your gold for your flasks for your raids for your badges for your loot for your GearScore and just..... RELAX!!! In fact, you may be seeing me at the event tonight. Wish me luck!

Da Doctas are a guild I have heard about and they are on the Cenarion Circle U.S. Last I heard the clinic was in the Crossroads.
CC is a good RP server, forgot about that detail myself.

Doctas Clinics are currently held in the Valley of Wisdom in Ogrimmar, Tuesday nights starting at 7 ST (PST). Feel free to drop by for some RP.

I may reroll my warlock to Cenarion Circle. Can't remember a bad moment of RP there tbh. Unfortunately, most the the RP events occur on raid nights.

As mentioned above, they're now in Orgrimmar in the Valley of Wisdom by Thrall's building.
They were moved due to the large amount of griefing/PvPing that kept going on in the Crossroads. The distraction was too great. They are very, very popular! Feel free to come by to get healed -- come up with a reason to need to see a Docta, or further your own RP at a clinic or come up with something ongoing that can involve other participants/Doctas... it's all up to you!
Unfortunately, the sticky announcing the locations of events takes far too long to get updated, so a lot of people go looking in the wrong place...

Cenarion Circle is not a great RP realm, I played there for 3 years until I got a transfer off of it. What they don't tell you in the video is that 90% of all toons on that server are named Drizzt or some variant of it. And all RP consists of someone announcing in /trade something like "Drizzt12345 saunters into Ironforge/Ogrimaar looking dark and broodish".

Very tempted to dump my raiding toons and current guild to go RP on Cenarion Circle. Had to give up RP when Steamwheedle Cartel rotted away into a barren waste land, for both RP and PvE... actually, just about all game elements, so empty there.

Cenarion Circle is great, but be careful about transferring if you're looking for a lot of random RP. We have a great organized community with many events in a week, but the majority of the server population are still not role players. Random Rp happens, and we're working on making it more widespread, but the fun on CC is all about the scheduled events and global RP channels. We've been at it since November of 2004, and I see no end in sight :)

Yes, this is important to remember. We *do* have random RP, but it's not as much as you'll find on some servers. What makes CC particularly strong for RP, in my opinion, are the events and the overall community.
Feel free to drop by on an alt and check things out. We've got a sticky on our forums with some chat channels you can head to to get started.
