Ive never been annoyed by having a menu bar on screen (but hidden in the bottom left corner). However I got annoyed a number of times when it wasn't there. When im typing a tell for instance, or want to open the game menu without using esc (which will cancel casts ect).

Its the old saying "I'd rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it"

I am tempted to send in My UI, because its a little unusual compared to the ones recently featured.

I need a simple cast bar addon though - anyone recommend one?

I use quartz, it's nice because it's modular so you can turn off all the things you don't use. There's also another one that was showcased on wow.com a few weeks back. I believe it's just called CastBars
