Bottom line is it's not just their game -- it's their responsibility to make decisions on how much third parties should be able to add additional functionality to the game. It really doesn't matter what you think of the mod or the decision -- I think we have to respect the fact that the devs have done a pretty good job so far in keeping the game enjoyable and fresh, and if they think this kind of thing has to go, I'm inclined to not second guess them on it.
