I don't know what the deal is. Maybe I'm starting too early. I have to shatter at least once on any fight without target switching (patchwork, festergut, fire guy in voa etc). Maybe our tanks aren't building aggro enough . . .Didn't even know about Salvation, I'll have to start asking for that :)

Crap . . .Blessing of Salvation has been removed as of patch 3.0.2 Poor suicidal locks :'(

Don't worry, it was replaced with Hand of Salvation. The only thing that really got removed was Aura of Salvation, an old aura that used to be group-wide in BC that you'd move all your high dpsers to. :o

As said, Blessing of Salvation was removed. The concept used to be that tanks would generate more threat because they didn't have this buff, now they simply generate more threat by having an ability of their own switched on (Righteous Fury, Defensive Stance, Frost Presence, Bear form). So essentially everyone who isn't a tank has the benefits of the threat difference all the time, no matter whether you have a paladin around.Hand of Salvation is a cooldown ability to lower someone's threat for a bit that a paladin can apply to someone. This can either be because they are a complete threat monkey or to manage a fight mechanic (such as the tank with nine stacks of Gastric Bloat on Festergut)

@ aboveYou're thinking of tranquil air totem, not aura of salvation.
