A very good article. Thank you. Personally I don't like PvE. Perhaps to the point of actually hating PvE. I don't like raids, I don't like dungeons, I don't like kill-loot-repeat type quests. I play for PvP and for PvP solely. I'm not much of an arena player. While I enjoy arena with a good team, I don't really have one ever since my bro left WoW in mid-TBC due to class imbalance (he was a hunter in S2 season. Go figure). Since then I'm a lone wolf. Whether I run as a feral cat or fly as a mage, I am always ready for battle, always looking for the enemy and I show no mercy when I find one. The action, the speed, the rush of adrenaline and the joy seeing as your carefully planned strategy works, the pieces fall in place, enemy acts exactly as predicted and fails to counter one assault after another. I'm not a nice guy. I'm driven by hatred and my mind is focused to ultimate destruction of the target and impenetrable self-defense. Battlegrounds and WoW PvP in general is a perfect place for this.

What a perfect copy of my own playing style.Looking around, I think that a LOT of players play WOW this way.Although I want to raid sometimes, it is not nearly as exciting as winning a "heroic" BG.Perhaps Blizzard will have realised with WotlK that not everyone wants to Raid all the time. If they would eliminate the BG play, I would end my subscription today. While I didn't do a single raid (except for VOA) in the last 3 months !
