Having played alliance on Cho'gall (and sometimes still try to), the only saving grace to alliance is the fantastic community there. I remember being level 6 in Goldshire trying to quest and being followed by 2 level 80 horde rogues trying to duel me, following me everywhere and spitting on me. Goldshire isnt contested so they couldnt kill me, though they would try jumping in front of me when I would kill things so that maybe I would accidentally target them, that is if they werent killing the things I needed for my quest. So I can see where people would just say..."enough of this".

So that South Park episode has really come true....except the Horde is playing the part of that really annoying fat dude.

Sounds like you met Timmy power-gamer and his 12 year old friend, can't win in BGs or do stuff at their own level cos they get owned so gang up on people that have no hope of beating them.

Well thats just it. I have a few level 80's and it has never crossed my mind to go to starter areas and harass people.

I reported a Hordie for constantly spamming Duel at me....I believe Blizz considers that a harrassing offence no matter what faction the other player is. As their reponse was very quick and positive in reguards to that. You might want to write a petition if that becomes a problem again.

Generally those harassing lowbie areas are pretty fail, like the 3 70 rogues in BC harassing Sentinel Hill while a couple guildees were questing with me on our lowbies. We had ungeared 70s but jumped on them anyway, even though as a rogue/mage/warrior we expected we'd need help from the guards or others to be able to actually do anything. The 3 rogues were dead within 30 seconds of us landing in Sentinel Hill. We killed them again for good measure before they managed to rez/stealth and escape. At 80 with some decent pvp gear, I've gotten my mains out a few times to take care of people doing similar things, and even though I am merely "ok" at PVP, definitely not in the ranks of "good", those harassing low-level areas are almost never even a slight contest. Really, someone harassing a lowbie area is really just putting up a big flag that says "I fail so bad I need to kill lvl 30 npcs to make myself feel good". So to the rest of you with 80s, when you see or hear of someone attacking lowbie areas, even if you're not that great at PVP, that is your chance to kill (and camp) someone who is probably too fail to do much at all.
