Yes, being repeatedly ganked by a max level character will make people roll on another server. It did with me. I first rolled a mage on a PvP server. Logged in to play one day and a bunch of Allies were decimating Tarren Mill. After being repeatedly camped and killed for 15 minutes, I gave up and re-rolled on another server. I never played the mage again. This kind of ramant assholery is exactly what causes people to transfer off or re-roll on another server.

I am beginning to ponder, for this imbalance issue, if the option of realm transfer is good at all.On players' side, it create a way 'out'. On Blizz' side, it makes complaints go away (for a while at least) AND generates some revenue. It pacifies players so that they don't press their issues with Blizz. It rewards Blizz for solving the problem through an easy way, rather than the 'hard' one, changing PvP mechanics, etc.I am not saying realm transfer was created particularly for this or Blizz knew and wanted to use it to make money, because I understand people's lives are changing constantly and they demand this game be sufficiently flexible. In earlier days, I remember some players corpse-camping flight masters in start zones to the point that questing was impossible. That was changed soon in the way that flight masters are now tough enough and not worth killing.I do hope Blizz seriously consider preventing max level players dominating low or start zones of the opposite faction, by implementing new mechanics so that doing so would either be nearly impossible or not beneficial at all by any means. For example, now you can only get an honorable kill on a players within a level range. I would like this rule expanded: if you kill a player more than 10-level lower, you LOSE honor points and if you kill players sufficiently lower than you (say 30 levels) you lose both honor points and GOLD, 1g/each for the first and 10g/each for the immediate following kills. And it's not just regular lost, you lose gold TO the players you killed. What if you have no gold? Sorry, you PvP flag is grayed out.Just a thought.
