I originally rolled alliance toons in TBC. Didn't do a whole lot of raiding outside Kara/ZA. WotLK hit, I picked 1 of my 70s, leveled it to 80 and due to some luck was able to raid more in the first half of the current expansion. Towards the end of 3.1 and Ulduar, real life interfered and I had to stop raiding (new work hours made it impossible to raid). I am kinda active on my realm forums and had become aquaintances with several members of the horde. Two of whom made alts, and I invited to the guild I was in. My server's Horde tend to raid late at night, and I now was working nights so I rerolled, as Alliance was dead during my playing hours. A month or two later faction xfers came out, which coincided with Horde starting to run WG all the time. Seems these days faction xfers from Alli to Horde are based around just that, WG. See, WG battles used to be more balanced on my server, but as Horde won more and more, Alliance just kinda lost interest and began viewing it as futile to win so for the most part don't show up. Balanced matches are nail biters, but they are pretty far and few between. Honestly, I'd like to see them be balanced more often. It gets old when they always have 9 tenacity, and they really don't ever stand a chance because they are so badly outnumbered that they still don't have the ppl to properly capture bases, break down walls, etc.As far as Horde are better, better organized in pvp/bgs..what a bunch of crap. I've had my fair share of loses as both Alliance and Horde. I just spent most of my playing time last night, desperately trying to get my win in the daily random bg. In most cases against non-premades we Horde got slaughtered. I think it truly depends on your battlegroup's make up, times you are playing, etc. Warcraft Realms seems so sketchy, as far as looking up things and using it as a resource. It shows my realms as having almost twice the number of Horde as Alliance, except that the Alli number is flagged red, which if I read correctly means not enough data is being given so it may not be, or is not an accurate count. Besides, our former top guild (both Horde side and top on the server) recently disbanded and left, due to a lack of being able to recruit people. Their Alli counterparts? Recruiting might not be great but 2 guilds Alli side are running away from everyone else raid progression wise. WoW Progress shows just the opposite, a low pop. server which favors Alliance. I don't know who to believe =(
