She was "captured and seduced via magical means". A.k.a rape.

See, I thought that and everyone infers it in the questline. But if you go through the quest, there's a couple of parts that point to the idea that she organised her own 'kidnapping'.

I just went and re-read through Kharan's Tale, and I think you may be right. She wants to go on this mission to the heart of Dark Iron country for no apparent reason, her group's moves are all revealed to the Dark Irons by a 'traitor', the dwarves in the group are all spared their lives when ambushed, and she's ticked after you kill Thaurissan even though the spell should be gone... Clever girl.

I think there's a bit more to it than what Mona and Murdertime just mentioned.I think to say that Moira was bewitched is actually true, but not by Thaurissan, as I honestly believe that, he too, along with all the Dark Irons, are under the thrall of an old God. Most likely the one that Ragnaros serves. This is why Moira continues to seem entralled after Tharissan's death and why the Dark Irons don't seem to hate being slaves to the very beast that killed their Thane.Add the fact that the Dark Iron's "delved deeper into the earth than the other dwarven factions", and considering that Neltharion was also swayed and manipulated by the old Gods due to his dominion over the earth, I honestly thinking it's safer to say that Moira is not in full control of herself, and probably never can be.

Could be to unite the Bronzebeard and the Dark Irons into one faction with a Dark Iron/ Bronzebeard prince or princess. However, I don' t think it would last that long, as there would probably be another giant civil war between the two. New Cataclysm faction?
