Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see them on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as emailing aroundazeroth@wow.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word "Azeroth" in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use Alt Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, Val'kyr on mounts or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran. This shot would also make a great ad for some kind of mint or mint flavored gum.

Hmmmmmm.
I think you need to check how the sidebar widget for AA works. lol. It shows the pic before it even posts.

Everyone should spend at least 5 minutes just wandering around thunderfall at one time or another. An incredible amount of detail went into the frozen battle. It's one of my favourite places in WoW.

Speaking of Iceland, there are many names in Northrend that are Icelandic words, unfortuntaly the only one I remember at the moment is Banahogg, which means Fatal blow.

Not sure why this was downrated because this indeed happens. Sometimes the widget is the new screenshot a good few hours before the new article is live, and has been like this for months.

No, no, this not Iceland! It is missing an ash cload from Eyjafjallajokull, very long and hard to pronounce location names, and realy good musik that sounds better the louder it is. \m/

bit late with this :p take northrend, turn it upside down and you pretty much have iceland :P
howling fjord would be vestfirðir (westfjords), borean tundra would be north eastern part,
icecrown would be where vatnajökull glacier is, the dailies island for argent tournament is vestmannaeyjar, zul-drak is reykjavík, storm peaks is where the battle of víðines took place.
In addition northrend mobs are for most parts based on vikings and their sagas, religion etc.
