Have to 100% agree with your advice to UO- we had something very similar happen when our guild fell apart and it was really upsetting. The original GM- who had left and then come back- just took a bunch of the most valuable stuff out of the guild bank and then server transferred, his reasoning that "He was GM so it was HIS." Then the new GM took all the bank gold before leaving the guild, reasoning that the old GM had told him he could.
The point being that even though you can probably not call the person a ninja for doing what they did, it's still incredibly unfair to the rest of the people in the guild, especially when you really can't say that one person has claim to that sort of thing.

I do wonder why a "former officer" is asking if he's no longer a part of the guild it really shouldn't concern him.
