Abyss Gazes Also: The crystals were donated to the guild. They are the guild's not yours. At least you asked for them, but even asking was wrong. There is a reason "Indian-giver" has a negative connotation.A Helpful Guild: Stand up for yourself against these bullies. Tell them it was a private transaction between guildies, and the BUYER initiated. And if they think you are going to give away an item that sells for 10k, they are out of their mind. How would that work anyway? If it was given for free, anyone could just ask for it. Now what are we doing, rolling on items in G-chat that YOU worked for, and YOU won. Methinks not. Keep your money, tell them to drop the subject, as they are creating a negative guild atmosphere, or you will be less inclined to help out at all in the future.Culling the Strong: I'm always split on these situations. A person whould find a guild whose policies they agree with. HOWEVER, people should not gquit over every little rule or policy they don't agree with. Ideally everyone would be in guilds where they loved all the rules and everyone was always in agreement. But that's never going to happen. You need to respect the GM/Officer decisions and be mature enough to be patient. This is loot drama at its core, and its all immature. You, and a million others, can always find a million reasons why something is unfair if you don't like a particular rule. But the fact is, the GM and Officers are executing a plan that they feel is best for the guild as a whole, which is what any good Guild should do. Most people's problem is they start to focus more on themselves, rather than the guild as a cohesive group. That is the root of almost all guild problems. All you should do is respctfully and politely voice your opinion and have good reasons or suggestions as to how or why a policy should be modified or an addendum to a rule to make it more fair for the older members, and if they listen respectfully and consider it, then that is good enough. They might choose to modify the policy, or not. Be mature and respect their decision. However if they are rude and won't listen at all, feel free to just leave. You shouldn't continue raiding with them if you fully intend to leave. Otherwise, just suck it up and be patient.
