as for apping to other guilds i know that this is generally frowned upon, and my current guild has a kick policy if you do it. my first guild hemorrhaged members due to new people coming in getting gear that the older members didnt need and then leaving for better guilds as soon as we geared them.

damnit edit needed, also the last guildy that apped while he was in our guild got kicked and our gm talked to his new guild and he got kicked there too, so in the end, not worth it.
