Things I would like to see in the near future (pre-Cat):
-The ability to be listed both in the LFR and LFD menus. I don't see why this isn't possible now, since you can't be recruited by LFR in the same automated fashion that LFD employs.
-A toggle for HoR. I don't care how many people downrate and reply "HoR is easymode, scrub! RAWR RAWR" The average HoR experience is far, far below the experience I have in any other random heroic in terms of efficiency, success, and fun.
-An "Achievement Run" toggle. I hate landing in a group that wants to do all the achievements in a heroic. Not what I queued for.
-A "Speed Run" toggle. Even if you think I'm an asshole for wanting to do my daily as fast as possible, consider the fact that all assholes like me will be in a separate pool from you.
-Some sort of internal selection balance. I know the point of "Random daily" is that it's random, but I've done DTK 197 times. The next highest is AN at 57 and most of the dungeons are around 15-20. It's Blizzard's design - is there any one good reason why "Random" has to mean "Perfectly 100% random"? They already keep track of completion statistics, so just add weights to whatever RNGs determine a group's instance.
Things that are too complicated to ever come true:
-An "intelligent" kick that will prompt a kick when appropriate but also prevent inappropriate kicks. I've gotten kicked from a group because it was 4 douchebags from a douchebag other guild and after having done everything in their power to make me die, they kicked me when I /lol'd at one of them dying, but waited to do so until right before the final boss.
-Similarly, an "intelligent" drop. The reason I didn't drop the group of douchebags is because I didn't want the deserter cooldown (which I got anyway)
-A loot system that can determine whether something is an upgrade for you, regardless of armor type. I've seen new 80 non-cloth casters lose out on cloth upgrades as well as overgeared ninjas who hit 'need' on anything they can.
TL;DR
Tools to keep random dailies fun and helpful at any gear level
Tools that don't punish me for getting stuck with a bunch of assholes

About you doing DTK and AN so much: It's not that the RNG Gods don't favor you. It's the impatient jackass tanks and/or healers that book it as soon as one of those dungeons loads for their random. They don't want to put in the time to do those randoms to they just leave. Although the RDF is supposed to be random it also has a balance system so that equal players are in dungeons accross all instances. Therefor, for every jackass tank/healer that leaves DTK, Culling of strat, OK, AN, and OC, there's one of us that gets put into those instances in their place.

That would be interesting, a "pool of assholes" all trying to be the biggest asshole... doesn't sound like fun. My advise would be to relax and try to have fun playing a game, maybe even help someone out who isn't as big of an asshole as you

You can do most runs in around 30 minutes even when people are doing achvs etc. If you only have 15 minutes to do your daily then just don't do it. It is two damn emblems and isn't the end of the world.
Spend some time enjoying the game instead of grinding out crap you clearly don't enjoy. People like you are the poster boy for why Blizzard is capping emblems per week in Cata.

I love DTK, can bypass the first 2 bosses due to leashing and clear in under 10 minutes.
AN is nice for bugging Hadranox but Anub is a little annoying with the burrows.
Love getting one of those two when I'm just looking to do my daily random and gtfo.
