Mackejin, his needs are my needs. His power aura idea is also a waste. It is flashy, not informative.

I wonder what you mean by streamline because I'm not seeing it. His UF are off center from his action bars which are stacked way to many times causing a mesh of spells. I don't want to have to play "spell-search" and then awkwardly glance to the upper-left or upper-right to see a health bar.

Protip*: If you are having trouble seeing how the unit frames are awkward, imagine them, in the same exact place with the portrait's gone.

If you are going to cluster information, at least cluster them in a manner that won't cause damage to your eyes.
