WoW Moviewatch: WoW AddOns: The Song!

The vocal performance itself doesn't necessarily rock my world, but there's a lot to commend in this video. The graphics and visuals are all amazingly well coordinated, and the annotations, lyrics, and visuals do a great job informing the audience about each displayed AddOn. The autotune is a wonderful choice of audio technique, given that the whole subject matter is about using technology to customize experience. The lyrics were written well and flow together nicely. All in all, WoW AddOns: the Song! was a lot of fun, and a pretty nifty machinima.

Enjoyable, but considering the auto-tune effect, I was jarred by the off-key singing. Still, quite amusing, and the lyrics were nicely meshed with the source song.
The Benny Hill break had me laughing at my desk.

Wow, thank you so much for featuring me! I promoted this on MMO-Champ yesterday but never imagined I'd see it here....I had tons of fun making it so it's really great to see that the info is getting out!

You'd think that with Autotune it would be impossible to sing off-key. Apparently not.
TBH I'd much prefer off-key singing over Autotune in any situation. This effect has ruined many good songs, and will continue to wreak havoc on us until it is killed.
The song itself though, and the video, were pretty fun. Autotuning was just totally unnecessary.
Bonus points for the rickrolling in the credits!

Interesting compilation of addons. Checking a couple of them out right now actually, however, I couldn't make it past the first 30seconds with that auto-tune garbage before I had to mute it.

Considering the song they are parodying, the auto-tune fits, I know people hate auto-tune, and so do I for the most part, but when the original song is all autotuned, it makes sense that the parody uses it.

Was the off-key aspect of the auto-tune intentional? I think that's what has people covering their ears.

speaking of wow addons
anyone know one that can show me on my main map where the mote extractor clouds can be found? kinda like how gatherer works i guess but is doesnt HAVE to add to the minimap. as long as i can see potential spots on the big map thats great

Didn't understand half of the lyrics because of the heavy usage of Autotune.
I like the idea but thinking "huh, what did he/she just say?" every couple seconds is annoying.
I don't hate Autotune per se and I don't mind that they DID use it, just not to this extent.
