Makes sense. They don't want to intentionally give some of the high-end guilds in America a headstart on the Ruby Sanctum over the ones in other regions, obviously.
Any complaints about this delay in these comments should be required to link to their character's achievement for downing Heroic Lich King. If you haven't done that, no need to complain, you still have something to do.

Right, because every guild will be downing H-LK before touching Ruby Sanctum.
I would like my patch content on patch day, please. I don't think that's too much to ask since we'll be dealing with any major issues with the new bnet stuff coming down the pipe.
Honestly, if they're going to use the North American servers as guinea pigs, we might as well get some extra time on the new content.

Screw it, let some American guilds have a shot at some world firsts again. Ensidia and Paragon are both European and they took most of the world firsts in Icecrown Citadel. Even though it'd be an unfair advantage, giving American guilds a few days of Ruby Sanctum playing might help them actually get a World First over our European Competition.
It's all in the name of friendly competition, Europals. :)

IMO just give North America that week for free :P That way no one's getting a head start, but NA players are still getting something for the bugs that are going to be flying everywhere.

Actually I don't think this is about using the American servers as guinea pigs, it's most likely a localization problem which may or may not be coupled with localization issues of the new b.net services.
This is all speculation, of course, but that is what seems most logical to me.

Sure, we can do that. On Patch Tuesday, we'll get Stage 1 of the patch with all the Bnet stuff. We'll all this one 3.3.5a. On another Patch Tues, we'll get Stage 2 (3.3.5b) with Ruby Sanctum. Look two different patch days with patch content.
It's like your birthday and Christmas at the same time, except you aren't cheated on gifts. The lag and instability we'll be like your parents forgot the batteries, but they'll hit the store in a couple days and put in some fixes.
