Around Azeroth: Attraction to shiny objects
Is this dragon flying into a bug zapper? Feraligono of <Adamant> on Bleeding Hollow-H writes, "This was a background feature during the Malygos encounter that was only available for a short time before it was removed from the game. Blizzard added a huge swirling vortex that would move around chaotically as the fight went on, making it look amazingly epic, but also near impossible to pay attention to the events within the fight itself - and possibly causing seizures."
Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see them on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as emailing aroundazeroth@wow.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word "Azeroth" in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use Alt Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, Val'kyr on mounts or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran. Older screenshots can be found here.

Silly Blizzard, removing things that would make fights infinitely more cool simply because it may cause seizures. I mean, really.

Damn, if I wiped because everyone was looking at that it would be totally worth it.

"Um.. Who is making that noise? Jonesy are you pleasureing yourself again?, We really need you to focus on this fight. you are the MT after all.."
And then after about 30seconds someone could shout over vent "Jonesy! Joooooooneeesssyyyy" Similar to Otacon from Metal gear on the codec.
Trying to think of another game I played where the effects/ingame lighting almost gave me a seizure. I'm sure it will come to me later.

It's too bad Blizzard removed that. That's awesome.

I remember that, for a long time I refused to do Eye of Eternity specifically because every time I went in there that would agitate my epilepsy to such a degree I would be sick afterward for hours. Not worth it in my opinion for such a short fight.
Even now that instance STILL makes me a little nauseated. Sad really because as was mentioned it is such a COOL looking effect.

I do believe that's right above Coilfang Resevoir. I remember taking a pic of my Rogue while leveling that looks exactly like that.

Auchindoun has a similar effect.

Is my Firefox glitching, or this post really does not contain links and previews of Around Azeroth gallery?
