So I for one will be paying for this for the following reasons

1. I love playing the auction house, its like role playing as a big fat capitalist pig, and i can get cash for the other parts of the game i like without so much grinding.
2. I don't get time to play the AH enough as in the evening I feel it cuts into my time with the other parts of the game, raiding questing etc
3. Now I get to do all my banking at lunch in work, its great fun and a nice way to take timeout
4. With this extra time at the AH, I've already tripled my haul this week (and thats with a 25 transactions cap), my bank alt is gonna be rich I tell you!!!

I disagree with some of the following common complaints.

No more bank alts: not for me I love my bank alt for postal storage and being a merchaing princess she has her own company(guild) bank, plus by using her with the remote app I get to keep my mains post all clear.

It gives players an advantage: well yes it does, but I had a disadvantage in that I get minimal play time dues to kids, family etc so getting the cash together for in game purchases has always been an uphill struggle, but now I have all the time in the world to play AH while commuting etc

Its no good without auctioneer addon: Now i love auctioneer but personally I make most of my money by knowing the going rate for a small subset of items i regularly trade in, I know the rates for most metal bars and ores by memory for example (sad i know) so I have no problem recognizing flip opportunities without auctioneer.

All in all I love this remote AH stuff, I get to enjoy playing AH whenever i want and when i'm in the game itself I am free to play and I have the cash to buy the thing i want.

I'm gonna be rich or did i already tell you that ;-(

Oh and 2.99 a month, thats peanuts for me, and I'd pay anything for the joy of hitting that that "claim gold" button!!!
