Boot them from the group, ignore them, or leave.
It's that simple.

I do the same. Just ignore them. Sometimes I threaten them that I will leave if they wont stop since I am the tank. Of course then all the jibber jabber stops and we can continue in silence :)

God, I WISH that threat worked with my tanking toons. All I ever get is more shit about "lol u think heroics r hard noob" and then the idiot DPS (generally supported by their healer friend) proceeds to prove that they are, in fact, geared well enough that I am unnecessary, and all I can do is keep myself in combat to avoid them screwing me over by booting me.

Unfortunately, it's not always just "that simple." Often times I find that the player that is overwhelmingly arrogant is the tank in the PuG group. Where I really don't even bother with dps that think they're too good for the group, dealing with a pompous tank is a whole other issue. I don't mind speed runs myself, but if I'm pugged with a group that can't dps the mobs down quickly enough then there should be no reason that said tank cannot slow it down a bit. This idea, however, seems completely heinous for someone of this tank's stature, "Why slow down? I'm doing this for free. I don't want to waste my time with noobs when I could be selling instaqueues instead." Rolling a plate (or bear) class doesn't give you the right to degrade others.
